In Cinderella story, the orientation or the introduction to the characters part is shown when Cinderella was known as a cheerful yet passionate girl losing her mother and lived with her merchant father. He just got remarried to a widow with two daughters, who were brought along with. Not long after, her father passed away in overseas.
Meanwhile, the complication or the conflict part is shown when Cinderella was forced by her step mother and sisters to serve them as if she was their maid. Such can be considered as the major complication between the characters. Meanwhile, the minor one can be seen when there is a conflicting feeling within her when he accidentally met the prince charming. She liked him  but she was none but an orphan compared to him. Deep within she wanted to go to the ball in the palace but she had nothing proper to wear. Not to mention how she could sneak out there without being noticed by her step family.
The resolution would be, as predicted, the typical one that she was happily married ever after with the prince charming. It can be regarded as the major one, while the minor one, her step mother and sisters had to work as her servant instead of being imprisoned due to their misconduct.
